There are very few albums of any genres that I’d class as timeless. One immediately thinks of the likes of Kind of Blue, Sgt Pepper, Blood on the Tracks, or Led Zeppelin IV etc.
Often over looked but arguably almost timeless and as important or influential is this………
The songs and musicianship are imho almost as fresh now as back in 1967.
The Velvet Underground and Nico ……
All that separates this from the totally timeless is a couple of lesser tracks

Agreed - I saw the concert on TV. To paraphrase Victor Kiam, I was so impressed I bought the album.
‘Telephone Line’ is magnificent - a classic, but also the recent track, ‘When I was a Boy.’
