Ironic Records release - it’s about time Ms Peacock got off that (see below) and re-released the Ironic Records catalogue.
David Bowie | Space Oddity | 1969
It’s a fine early Bowie album and I love what Visconti brought to the mix in 2019.
Now playing…
Sebastian Gahler - Two Moons – inspired by the works of Haruki Murakami
Sebastian Gahler (Piano, Fender Rhodes), Denis Gäbel Tenor Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone), Matthias Akeo Nowak (Bass), Ralf Gessler (Drums) and Ryan Carniaux (Trumpet).
Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… continuing on this Monday Morning with and album I last played in December and finally getting around to taking out for a second spin… and Sebastian with his quintet are sounding mighty sweet!
Busy over the weekend so finally giving Depeche Mode’s latest a stream.. listened to it three times now and i understand it was made under difficult circumstances but i find it flows from one song to another and nothing stands out.
That sums up my reaction so far. I’ll keep listening.
Same here - sorry to probably repeat but they’ve not been the same since Alan Wilder left. Sure Ultra and Exciter weren’t bad but they’ve been drifting along since. It’s telling really as very little from recent albums is included in their live shows! And yes miss Fletch to - whatever it was he did ![]()
Oddly enough but Ultra is a fave of mine … roll on the remix album ![]()
First up tonight ….
The system is delving far more into this than I’ve previously heard - XPS, 282, 250 really starting to sing together!
I think we’ve got ourselves tuned into a telepathic Grant Green vibe, see my third post back

Another example where the 24bit 192kHz Hi Res knocks the ball out of the park.
Only gripe I have with this album is the feet on the furniture that is an absolute no no!
This is one of those albums which really makes you appreciate your investment in good hardware.
A jazz album which has me reaching for the + button…
Well, fret not; per Wikipedia:
On the cover, the members are, left to right, Nash, Stills, and Crosby, the reverse of the order of the album title. The photo was taken by their friend and photographer, Henry Diltz, before they came up with a name for the group. They found an abandoned house with an old, battered sofa outside, located at 815 Palm Avenue, West Hollywood, across from the Santa Palm car wash, that they thought would be a perfect fit for their image. A few days later, they decided on the name “Crosby, Stills, and Nash.” To prevent confusion, they went back to the house a day or so later to re-shoot the cover in the correct order, but when they got there, they found the house had been demolished.
