Veers towards syrupy at times, like much of Metheney’s recent output, but it certainly has its moments.
I remember playing Lifeforms a lot as I’d not long before bought my first Sony CD player and I didn’t have many CDs!

This may only be the first time i’ve played this fab album since purchase a decade or so ago (at a time when my LP12 didn’t have the 45rpm option) …in fact i’d forgot it was in my collection, but there it was in the rack waiting to be enjoyed, what a hidden treasure
