Radio Paradise, it’s been a fine session since I turned it on about 45 minutes or so ago. The times quoted must be American pacific.
12" Vinyl. 1986. A great song that didn’t trouble the charts much even though it was released twice.
It reached number 2 when Annie Lennox ( crappy version imho) released it in 95. I suppose Lennox made a few bob for the two guys in the band. I really like the original heavier version.
The High Llamas - Gideon Gaye
Love some of the reviews of this album:

As if George Harrison had recorded All Things Must Pass in California
A mix of The Beach Boys, Steely Dan, Stereolab and ELO
Bit like me and The Beatles or PF.
Well at least you tried so well done for that!

Smokey Robinson. Compilation. Amazing songwriter, performer, producer; and vice president of Motown.
" When Smokey Sings…"
I’ve had to listen to a lot of jazz today, a lot of it lite, so time for something a bit heavier… here comes Sunn0))) time!
Flare Up is a good un too, I got that one recently.
How about this from Adrian Sherwood’s On-U Sound
This slipped out without notice recently, presumably a copyright release.
Sound quality is outstanding
Lou Reed - I’m So Free: The 1971 RCA Demos
Quicksilver Messenger Service | Happy Trails | 1969
Some late sixties psychedelic rock by the band from San Francisco who adopted the burgeoning psyche West Coast scene that had been bubbling away for a few years previously.
Yes it was a RSD release, & I agree, a great sound.
I was in NY when he died, sad day.
Took this in my hotel bedroom.
That’s a fantastic album
