I saw Ahmad and his trio with James Cammack in a NYC club once. An incredible groove and intensity they generated and an evening that I wish I could revisit.
Also fairly sure that I saw him persusing the jazz CD racks at Tower, Sunset Boulevard on one occasion. His trio were in LA at the time.

I’m really enjoying this. As well as the Triple it has various Beethoven songs, and ends with a lovely trio version of the traditional Londonderry Air.
