I agree with you there @Brown_Owl, it’s actually surprised me that they did/have returned to form in their later iterations, even Ulrich Schnauss has gone but the music has been…ok for a while now.

The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour, I suppose we should be pleased, this is one album Capitol faffed around with, in their usual manner.
Tangerine Dream | Tangram | 1980
“If Stratosfear was the point when the band edged away from Berlin School to progressive rock, then Tangram is the move from prog to the new age / synthpop blend they would perfect in the 1980s. Although the arrival of Johannes Schmoelling as a permanent third member, and the procurement of digital gear give the album a fresh, new sound, structurally the two pieces on the album are very similar to the title track of Force Majeure: strong melodic anthemic sections joined by short sections of synth noise” - Part of Bullfinchart’s well educated comments on Discogs
On CD. Better than I remembered but hampered by over production imo and drums recorded in another room. Hoping the new album is a return to form after the poor Human:II:Nature
John Lennon - Anthology, listening to disc 3 of this set, titled The Lost Weekend. Features tracks from the Rock’n’Roll and Walls And Bridges album sessions.
