I do believe!
Bryan Ferry - Dylanesque
With Ferry’s covers, I’m taking the smooth, not the rough.

Peter Green Splinter Group - Soho Live at Ronnie Scott’s.
Ripped to FLAC from 1999 Limited edition 2 CD set.
New album by Nick Cave, Wild God. I am not always convinced by Nick Cave albums (I have found most of his output since The Boatman’s Call to be a touch disappointing) but I must say, on first listen this sounds magnificent
It’s a great album and my album of the years so far.
Some have complained that Qobuz and Tidal versions are compressed. How does the CD or vinyl sound?
I’ve been streaming it and thought it sounded ok. Probably buy a hi res version eventually.
I’m away at the moment, so can’t try on main rig yet. I’m intending to buy CD, but will try Qobuz on Astell and Kern. Interesting different perceptions.
Only listened on qobuz and it does sound non-audiophile - I suspect caused by the way it was engineered and produced, so I doubt that future formats change that. But the artistic and emotional impact of the album overrides this for me.
