‘Synchronicity’ - The Police
‘King of Pain’ is immense, especially on a Friday evening after a couple of glasses of red.

He mentioned travel in his post of 25th September, and was viewing the website on 2nd October.
Hopefully he is on holiday, and fingers crossed all is well.
Elvis Costello - King of America. Apart from a couple of tracks, recorded without the Attractions and instead using a stellar list of American musicians. One of my favourite EC records.
Wow - love the casual attitude Lucky bugger!
Spinning ‘Super Trooper’ this evening. Peak “Abbaesque” studio sheen that @TheKevster references.
Saw this recommended on a podcast. I own School Days but missed this earlier album being a relative young ‘un at the time. Qobuz stream and it’s really enjoyable.
Includes the ‘Main Title to The Carpetbaggers’ which was used as the theme for ‘The Money Programme’ on BBC2 in the 1970s.
Sabbs - Heaven and Hell - 1980
I love the two 80’s Dio fronted albums, some great riffs on this one for sure.
Goatbrain is my current obsession!
Amusingly, it’s the only VM that I have.
Fleet Foxes - 2008
What a great record. The height of the British blues/rock explosion.
That is amusing. Didn’t it pique your interest into exploring more of his catalogue?
