The ‘Abbey Road’ box set is so good.

The “extras” are anything but in this collection. ‘Sun King’ recorded live is superb. And ‘The Long One’ reveals why the last note of ‘Her Majesty’ is missing on the released LP.

Tonight’s revelation: The ‘Goodbye’ demo by McCartney. Wasted on the (lovely) Mary Hopkins’ version, IMO.
