Back to basics:

This album was an epiphany for me when I heard it back in '72.

Blood Command - World Domination (2023, milky clear & black & neon green splatter)

An absolutely bonkers album that defies genres. Hardcore, punk, pop, electro, happy hardcore, hip-hop, it’s all in there. Pressing is solid but not an audiophile recording by any means.

Just love the BBC live tracks from 2000 in this compilation. I like the mix between his classic songs and the newer material, especially the different versions of „Hallo Spaceboy“.

It’s comparable with the Reality live album. IMO Bowie is in a better mood when the Reality Show was recorded, it creates more emotions. Maybe the SQ on this here is a bit better. But I am not an expert in his whole work, maybe @AndyP or @Blackstar have some recommendations on other live albums beside these and the well known last Ziggy show.

Just discovering my new streamer and some albums I don‘t own physically.

For me the ultimate live Bowie album is David Live along with the other released sets from the 1974 tour - Cracked Actor and the end of the tour release I’m Only Dancing (The Soul Tour 74).

In addition, I quite like the late 90’s shows released on the live albums Something In The Air, Kit Kat Klub and Look AT The Moon.

Hi @krautnaimie for me his best officially released live album is ‘Welcome To The Blackout’. I saw him, for the first time twice on that tour so that may be an influence. He was in a happy place at that time, fairly clean from substances and the setlist was stunning as was the band. Just listen to those versions of Heroes and Station To Station.
Like @AndyP I also have a soft spot for Cracked Actor especially the bootleg version with the long intro.
‘Santa Monica’ for Ziggy era and ‘Look At The Moon’ for his 90’s period.
Anything really :rofl::rofl:

Coming as it did, straight after ‘After The Goldrush’, it was a wonderful couple of releases from Young Neil!

Is there anything added on the ‘50th Anniversary Edition’?

Wow, thank you that much @AndyP and @Blackstar for these recommendations :blush: I appreciate your support and advice. It is so great to have you here on this forum :ok_hand:

I will immediately start to explore your recommended albums :musical_score:
