The Jayhawks - 1992 - Hollywood Town Hall - CD

The third studio album from the “Alt”country band formed by Mark Olson with singer guitarist Gary Louris.

This is an excellent album with detectable influences of The Everly Brothers , Rolling Stones & Niel Young. It also has wonderful cover art shot by the British photographer Andrew Caitlin.

That was an hour and 50 mins of genius music! The range of styles was a surprise, quite different to when I saw them in 2011.
What a band!

Cordovas - Destiny Hotel. Released in 2020, this is a fine roots-rock / Americana album. Reminds me a little of the Band.

Put this on as “Bedtime Tunes” last night for Mrs Q, only for her to fall asleep before the end of the first song🤷🏻‍♂️
So back on for her whilst she’s in the garden today.
