What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

Was lucky enough to hear this about 3 weeks before it was released, I was living with a woman who owned a record shop (yes I know I’m shallow). A rep swamped his demo copy for an album from another label. Always loved the energy in the album especially the title track, Bruce Springsteen Born to Run.

An excellent album arguably the best of the 90s imo.

I had this down as a Nigel Godrich production probably with the band looking over his shoulder.

A playlist of the Steven Wilson remastered tracks of the original album only, from today’s new release. I really enjoyed his last reworking of “The Yes Album”, so I’m hoping for similar results here🙂

Hi @Gianluigi

Thanks for posting that version of Swollen, I haven’t heard it before. I am much more familiar with the excellent Beloved remix from the chillout sessions.

Keith Jarrett - Concerts Bregenz and München - 2013 - ECM Records

Playing München Parts I and II. Recorded 1981

This is beautiful imo.

After initially spinning Personal Mountains, that had to come off immediately. Just sounded like noise to me!

Yes. It remains a great song. But i think that it could not be without the voice of Zoe Johnston…

Aw…I liked Personal Mountains.
Garbarek was superb with Jarrett, and the rhythm section pushed it along.

One of KJ’s better albums, I thought.
