What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

Brandi Carlile - 2021 - In These Silent Days - Label - Electra - Vinyl.

This is the seventh studio album by Brandi and her most critically acclaimed. Two singles were released from the album Right on Time & You and Me on the Rock. Best describe as Americana/ folk rock / alt country. It’s a beautiful album.

Scorpions - Lovedrive

Classic German rock. I’m not certain where I first heard this, although I’m sure it was over a PA system at an open air gig somewhere, possibly at Knebworth, 1979. It was the opening track, Loving You Sunday Morning, which for me was love at first listen.

Very dear to my heart Ian. My first date with the wife in 1998, we both rocked into Hong Kong on that saturday night to see him … he’d played the night before! Oops, but hilarious.

It’s been a while since I have played this. Bought it on realise and have always liked it. I do like the brass section in it. Works for me :slightly_smiling_face:

Some Icelandic/Faroese ambient/cinematic/techno. By Kiasmos. I’m enjoying.

Tone Poet LP version of this one. I have a King version but this probably surpasses it.
