What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

Well, I have done 50% 14 of 28 tracks, but as with most soundtracks, I’m getting a little bored and need something else now.

A recommendation from @SimonDC that apparently is right up my street🤔
Edit: Oh yes! This is very much my thing😊

To knackered to select a vinyl version, so gone with the Qobuz 2012 remastered version in HiRes 192kHz 24-bit

Soundtracks, electronica, spacey dub, avant-jazz, vintage syntherama… it’ s all here on the fabulous Will “Goldfrapp” Gregory’s Freakzone Playlist on BBC Sounds. Cannot recommend this one highly enough.

I found this in a charity shop yesterday and with a love of English string music, I thought this would be at least interesting. It is gorgeous. A wonderful joyful disc with, it tells me, JLW’s last performance on the cello on a Howard Goodall premiere. If anyone has a fondness for English string music, I urge you to search this out and listen to it.

@Dynaudio1 thanks for the recommendation on Extensions. Also, added to my collection the 1968, 1969 and 1970 recording sessions Cosmos.

Also gave this a spin, reminds me a lot of Kansas and Spock’s Beard at times, not a bad thing! Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it was on cheap cycling headphones whilst doing gardening. I hate gardening!
