Sting - Songs From The Labyrinth

Sting (Archlute, Narrator, Vocals) and Edin Karamazov (Archlute, Lute).

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… a mention from @Debs above had me place in the queue and now taking out 'Songs From The Labyrint for a first time spin… and music is sounding mighty fine!

Yes

  • I’ll stop being so flippant … it’s really hard not to dig someone playing Revolver, DSOTM, WYWH, Foxtrot, Mezzanine (very long list indeed … ) … or ANYTHING by The Fall, that’s why I do it.
    Cheers

This is my view, so you may not agree, if I like the album / Music, I will post a like, plus I think it encourages forum members to further posts of what they are listening too.

This is a great forum with a vast amount of knowledge all freely available, long may it continue :+1:

The Fall back-story.
I’d penciled in a few for Reading '90 … Mudhoney, Tackhead, Pixies etc
Missed The Wedding Present as I got sold an iffy pint on the saturday (?)
The Fall blitzed it … Pixies looked dazed & confused, then again we all were.
Was it really 35 years ago?

Recorded in 2002 and just released, 23 years later, the wonderful John Taylor, leading a great trio.
