Is it brand new? I wasn’t aware of it, I thought I had all her latest albums ![]()
Swans The Seer

Atmospheric later-Swans triple album (a bit different to my first intro to the band

Greed). Excellent stuff.

Not a lot of information out there about it, it seems to be a compilation ? happy to be corrected and for any information anyone has got about the release.

Great low-fi thrashy beauty from Free Kitten (inc Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth).

Wow that bass does thunder doesn’t it! Just goes to show that 16/44 can still pack a punch if the production is good.
A Luther Allison gig officially recorded in 96 unreleased. One of his usual gigs where he is just on fire.
Kraftwerk - Die Mensch-Maschine
Kraftwerk, one of the most influential German Bands. It started with Autobahn for me.
Bette Midler - Some Peoples lives - CD (1990)
Can’t believe The Divine Miss M is Celebrating her 80th Birthday today. Happy
Birthday - Bette Midler 01/12/45
Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter - Forever, I’ve Been Being Born
First spin - rather good - been sitting in my must play list since Friday.
they played the whole ‘In Winter’ album in their small venue concerts last year - saw them in Pontardawe where I live.
the 10 disc cd set of Space Ritual released a few years ago is stunning - includes full Liverpool and London concerts as well as one recorded in Sunderland…
Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I usually stay away from anything over 25m a side as some of those I have I am not very impressed with.
I will keep my eye out for a copy
People speak of the new recording of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No 30, Opus 109 by Víkingur Oláfsson as if it’s the best ever. On balance I think I prefer András Schiff’s ECM recording. I mention this in part so that @crispyduck can check it out.
