‘The Gift’ - The Jam
Very sad that we lost Rick Buckler last week. His superb drumming combined with Bruce Foxton’s bass really propelled the band and made them so exciting - no more so than a ‘Town Called Malice’ on this LP. And he was a nice fella too.

I’m so impressed that I have today ordered its predecessor titled Deep 70s. Another 4cd collection but considerably cheaper at the moment compared to More deep 70s.

This is the only film soundtrack that i own and the only reason i have it is because Get Carter is one of my favourite films of all time. The music on it is very very much of the time and is even more enjoyable for it to be honest. I’m certainly very much enjoying it at the moment.
