Sam Moss - Blues Approved. Undeservedly obscure North Carolina guitarist/songwriter. A fine album.

Family | A Song For Me | 1970
I very often get an earworm for multiple tracks from this fine album. Still enjoying it as much today as I did on that original vinyl fifty five years ago.

Zappa | Hot Rats | 1969
Another of those albums that blew me away at the time, it was all so new and different.

I’ve spent some time recently listening to the ‘Hot Rats Sessions’ again, getting into all the nuances of how it all came together and evolved. NIce to get back and listen to the finished album. Nicely presented here in 24/192.

Nadia Reid getting yet another play. Digital download.
I made the nervy step of upgrading the KDSM NG firmware a few minutes before. Thankfully all sounding very nice indeed. Big grin on my face with this music.
