Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (2025 remaster)
Due for release on 13/6. This is quite a bit clearer than the original, but that’s based on just the title track. That being said, I still look forward to its release.

And what a class picture
My only truly loved Genesis album, and the peak of progressive to me.
Lou Reed - Transformer. Walk on the Wild Side is one of my go-to test tracks, and it sounds wonderful on the new MXN 10 streamer, through the DAC V1. Will see what if any difference using the internal DAC makes in a while. Whatever, this is a real improvement on my old Bluesound Node 2i, although for some reason the control app just will not play Sandman by America, my no.1 test track.
Edit: DAC V1 it is, by a country mile. The internal DAC sounds wimpy in comparison.

Afternoon Ian, you missed off the dog barking!
. It became more apparent once I acquired my 282. It’s just amazing what is actually on these recordings and the effort artists put in, probably knowing fine well, some of these sound effects are “hidden” on bog standard kit
Joining the Rea love-in after playing On The Beach last night
Played it 3 times is the dog
…just before Chris saying Just popping out ?..maybe 1 woof ?
Its very subtle and until you mentioned it… but I think I can just about hear it .
Wishing you a good afternoon Alan
Ian
It’s just after he fires the car up at the second attempt, seconds before the guitar starts, around the one minute mark. But very subtle indeed.
