Just back from lunch with friends we shared a house with when this came out. Never off the turntable then it’s been my number one album through all life and musical taste changes ever since. As the man himself sings “time is a jet plane, it moves too fast”.

Toni Childs “Union”. Her debut album, recorded in 1988 and IMHO her best effort, not that the others were bad but “Union” is so fresh, alive and beautifully recorded. Sounds good on digital but outstanding on vinyl.
