What are you listening to in 2025 and why might anyone be interested?

What’s Finland got to do with it (apologies to Tina)?

Now playing…

Boz Scaggs - Dig

Boz Scaggs (Guitar), Joe Bonadio (Percussion), Robin Dimaggio (Drums, Hand Percussion, Percussion), Nathan East (Bass), Danny Kortchmar (Guitar), Steve Lukather (Guitar, Pedal Steel), Monet (Vocals), David Paich (Keyboards, Synthesizer), Greg Phillinganes (Piano) and Martin Tillman (Cello).

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… returning home after coffee with friends and sitting down with Boz and he along with the band are group sounding sublime!

Bon Jovi. 1992. Decent songs.

Studio 150. Just my opinion, but it’s one of Weller’s better solo efforts, even though it’s a covers album.

Discovered this while testing firmware v3.11. Superb sound and stereo image. And, of course, they’re great pieces too.

Last week @Charles64 posted the very same album
Why I reply my brother in law was their manager and the album was on his Red Rag label
I imagine it didn’t sell more than a couple of thousand copies.
So seeing Charles post last week gave me wow …but seeing it again with your post buster,
Even stranger
I imagine it sounds superb.A proper analogue recording as it would be in 1977 -8
Here is another Red Rag label for you

Cheers Ian

Oh dear… Sort of near the borderline

John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band, listening to the second disc of outtakes, just as mesmerising as the main album.
