Procol Harum.
Playing back to back the first studio and live albums.
Includes some very good bonus tracks.
Yes, but why the need to list all men & their dogs along with the cover (and a redundant image of a black shiny plastic disc)? Why not an artist credit, location of manufacturer & date/time of manufacture? It’s TOO much info ![]()
Mazzy Stars superb debut album from 1990 on Ruff Trade and the subsequent albums even better
Mazzy Star - She Hangs Brightly
Are you really sure this is a thread for you? ![]()
Oh yes. I like to see the cover images (especially since the cover thread I started got zapped) and occasionally someone explains why they are listening. Get the odd tip to something different ![]()

Very few images of CDs sitting in the tray, 'tho ![]()
You must have missed some of my photographs then ![]()
Enjoy the thread.
Personally seeing @AlanP posts and all posters of vinyl and CDs its got a bit of soul about it.
Its so easy just to download an album cover anyone can do that.
As for your point about information well its educational and shows posters want to share as they obviously have some passion @Debs and soulseeker are great examples.
YouTube videos …
Yeah, okay! Now YT videos with sound I do like. Avoided some real bummers that way ![]()

The Bully Wee, as in Clyde FC?
Primarily, because it’s great to see, if the poster wants to do so, who else is involved in the recording. It joins dots and creates connections across albums, genres and the decades of recorded sound.
It’s always of interest to me, one way or another.
And also, as someone who works in the performing arts, albeit a mostly different field, it’s good to see credits for who has possibly done what, and not just the the main man/woman.
Prompted by @igahman I thought I might give this a spin
John Lee Hooker - Boom Boom
Brilliant 1992 release and sounding great on original vinyl
Listening to the favourite music of @anon19832906 . ![]()
Yes, but I’ve never seen an artwork credit anytime. It’s a pity my original artwork thread was objected to by a couple of members, because there was space to display & discuss some incredible artwork itself. There were also very few duplicates in over 1700 covers.
The mod did offer to look into restoring the thread, but I’d lost so much heart over it that I declined. ![]()
Now playing…
