Harry Nilsson - A Little Touch of Schmilsson In The Night and More, an expanded version of the original release.
Censorship is a moderator responsibility not a poster’s. There are any number of albums I wouldn’t buy because of the cover art but that’s a personal choice and should remain just that.
Agree completely and like you, there are album covers that leave me cold, but you play the music, not the album cover.
I don’t agree with that my friend. I think it’s all our responsibility to decide what may offend fellow forum members, not the mods.
If in doubt, don’t ever post it.

The great thing about this thread, we all enjoy the music, long may it continue ![]()
lol
peach of an album
Captures the vibe of an era that is now gone, and times older and more ancient than that
Sunday night wind down courtesy of Ella and Louis sounding like it was recorded yesterday. Wonderful stuff.
Gabriels - Angels & Queens (2022). Heard a track from this on a TV soundtrack last night. Great blend of gospel, jazz, R&B etc. You’d never know the main man hails from Sunderland (the band is named after the street he grew up on).
I have always liked a bit of China Crisis, probably a hangover from my yoof. But was unaware of this more recent album until I picked up a copy on CD late last week. Ripped to my core, now giving it a first play. It’s rather sweet and a little melancholic. A bit like me then. Will definitely give it another play soon ![]()
I remember that😂
Dave Douglas: Four Freedoms
Part of the album’s impact lies in its immediacy. Recorded largely live at the Spanish Getxo Jazz Festival, with additional material worked out the following day without an audience, Four Freedoms captures both the volatility of performance and the clarity that emerges through reflection.
