Nick Drake. Pink Moon.
Remastered 2000 version, I think. Beautiful and melancholic.
Bowie At The Beeb is a four-disc 180g vinyl box set, which was previously released on CD in 2000. This is the debut of the Best Of David’s Bowie’s BBC radio sessions from 1968 – 1972 on vinyl. The set comes in a lift off lid box and features a full colour 20 page booklet.
That will be the Riders on the Storm
One of my first Bowie albums - I can still quote pretty much all the lyrics to all the songs.
Marvellous stuff.

Uncle Arthur looks very Ringoesque?
Beyond The Black : Break The Silence. 2026 (Qobuz 44.1/24)
I don’t listen to a lot of symphonic power metal but this new one from Beyond The Black is a decent listen.
Nice vocals by Jennifer Haben, backed by the two guitarists. Music is the usual symphonic style and while nothing particularly new it is well done. A mix of mid tempo and more upbeat songs and some catchy choruses. The album has a nice mastering and sounds great on Qobuz. The only distraction for me is a computerized voice on the track The Flood which I find a bit irritating. Otherwise nothing drags on, in fact no songs go past 4:30 minutes so the album flies by in an enjoyably speedy 38mins.
For those who like Visions Of Atlantis, Ad Infinitum etc, this could be well worth a listen. I can see me playing it again.
Apparently a couple of dates in the UK at the end of this week.
Thanks for your comments and insights as ever Graeme
Great recording from the house of Decca
@Clive encouraged me to dig it out and take a listen, in the latest vinyl you’ve bought thread.
He’s another huge fan. ![]()
