Brian Odgers also acoustic bassist on John McLaughlin’s debut album for Marmalade, ‘Extrapolation’.

Rumillajta - City of Stone.
Stunning Andean music and I was once in a band that played the same music and we used to get our instruments from them - particularly high quality pan pipes, including the long bass ones.
MJ Lenderman- Manning Fireworks - FLAC 24/96
Excellent electric guitar led Indy/Americana, fine songs well played and sung.
Indeed he was, I believe he was a last minute replacement for Dave Holland, who, just before the recording of the album, was pinched by Miles Davis.
Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen - Live In The Ozone, a bit of early country rock, although a touch low-fi in sound, the band are clearly enjoying themselves.
Neil Young - Unplugged - WAV CD rip
A run through some of his greatest songs with a fine band, really beautiful music making.
Cassandra Wilson | Blue Light ‘til Dawn | Uniti Core. I return to this album so often. Wonderful in every sense I think and an example of how good a standard/normal price CD can sound.
Little Simz-Sometimes I might be introvert. Nothing introverted about the track, Point and Kill, or the rest of the album for that matter.
I was listening to Linn Radio a few minutes ago and I heard this track and really enjoyed it:
It was a very good sound quality recording, and there was something witty and original and yet they got right into the groove of the song.
Hunters and Collectors Best of..
Had some success in Aus with Throw Your Arms Around Me and When the River Runs Dry.
Listening now.. listened recently in my daughter’s car while driving from Queenstown to Glenorchy. Felt in sync with the mountains and lakes. Such a good rootsy and contemplative
album from a wonderful musician (and one of the great guitarists).
Alabama Shakes | I Must Be Dreaming
I Must Be Dreaming marks a minor but distinctive shift from Sound & Color and their 2012 debut Boys & Girls , keeping its predecessors’ aching bluesiness while flirting with a more political tone and evoking the shaggy, uncompressed style of ‘70s psychedelic soul.
