What beer are you drinking and WHY might anyone be interested?

What is a Tyrolean flavour pizza?

Local E10 outfit, a very few minutes walk from home:
East London Brewing Co.

The Oatmeal Stout is lovely. Nightwatchman bitter is, too.

So far ELB’s only beer I’ve not been struck by is Cowcatcher, an American-style IPA (so-so)…but the rest…good stuff. Even better that it’s just round the corner. Now I just have to persuade our local pub to stock it rather than the ‘craft’ (meh) beers they currently have.

Base of tomatoes and mozzarella, topping includes porcini mushrooms and a cured ham called speck. Mine also had red onions and other cured meats.

Kamenitza. Bulgarian lager. Nice on a hot afternoon. Will go well with the BBQ.

La Trappe - Trappist Dubbel

Also served in the wrong glass. Our Dutch friends would chase me out of the village with pitchforks for that.

Several pints of this Dorset real ale went down well at the weekend.

Less choice in Beerbohm’s (Lichfield) tonight. The fourth tap is a cider. I’ve always thought Three Tuns was a bit underpowered but the Pale is very good and traditional. No tropical fruit.

Two pubs, two excellent beer selections. Jarl, Seafire and Puffin all superb at The Bandstand.

Followed by a cracking pint of Scurry Island in The Havelock.

Cheers,

It tastes much better than its reputation suggests. Very refreshing.

Had dinner at a fantastic Spanish restaurant in Brockley, London called L’Oculto. Had this 6.5% Helles Bock from Galicia as my aperitif - wonderful
