I believe you’re right, that’s why I retired so I could concentrate on my beer drinking … every day is a weekend …
Nice piece of kit.
Could you tell what it is please?
Lunch
A reward for looking after a neighbour’s dog.
Too hot for long walks … a pee and rehydrate …

It’s a Speidel Braumeister 20 liter. This is the new version with an integrated cooling jacket. I’ve had my fair share of problems with it, but it now finally works as it should.
I seem to keep stumbling over high %ABV beers .. I have to admit that on the face of it this beer would not have been one I would have chosen .. it’s Belgian and it’s spiced .. but my beer man cajoled me into trying it and I’m really pleased he did .. a very very nice brew .. deceptively strong .. well it is 9.5% so I suppose it’s not all that deceptive ..
I thought it was rather a nice touch that they included the malt and the hops on the side of the bottle for those than can read the fine print after drinking one of them ..
When the pubs opened after lockdown, a pint of freshly poured cold Guinness was first to be ordered.

I’ve had quite a few of theirs from a company that deliver craft beer online.and at really good price. Liked most of them to. My Nan was originally from The Black Isle so it keeps a tradition I supposem
Tooheys?
A Shipyard IPA to wash down the Indian takeaway. Goes rather well with a Veg Balti.
