Cameron Crowe’s memoir called The Uncool
My wife bought it for me for Christmas and I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy it but actually it’s great. It’s like the true story of Almost Famous (a film based on his early days as a rock journalist) but also includes stories of encounters with legendary figures from the 70s - Dylan, Gram Parsons, Bowie, the Allman Brothers etc. Highly recommended if you are interested in music from that period

You’d miss some very good writing, then.
I loved this book at the time, but was brought up short by the F-bomb he deploys for no good reason. An F-bomb, in a book about rabbits, FFS!
Maybe as it’s the Puffin version, it will be @%&*! edited out
For some reason I wanted buy it, also bought the BluRay at the same time
Looks nice, are these only the pure Sandman stories or is Death included?
Includes all the related stories

Benny Green wrote excellent and learned prose about subjects he admired. Jazz and the American song book.
