What releases are you looking forward to

Out in March, this 7-CD box set is one of the (if not THE) major jazz reissue projects of 2021. This is the first time this stuff has been gathered together in one place.

Richard Thompson did a set of streamed gigs from London late last year, a selection is being released today on Bandcamp. And it’s a Bandcamp Friday, they waive their fees and the artist gets more money.

Well despite ordering two weeks after it was sold out (only because it was still in my ‘cart’) today the cream 7” Mother arrived today.
Cannot believe this happened! I never play 7” singles so will probably sell it, at least that’s what SHMBO informs me!

I really like the look of this 4-LP, 1 x cassette 1 x book Gang of 4 box set, but at £140 it’s a bit overpriced… :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

LZ were good, but don’t, to my mind, have any sort of monopoly on the genre. I also happen to quite like the early Kingdom Come recordings. Doesn’t do to become too fixated on one band. They were good, but so are many others.

@timmo1341
I agree… but my post was in response to Andy’s :smile: lol.

GVF being very influenced by Zep vs Lez Zeppelin - an earlier (female) Led Zep tribute band.

Lez Zep did it really well, was all!
Not to say GVF don’t, I’ve not heard them too much :slight_smile:
