Absolutely. They aren’t brand new so they are already run-in so that helps, and now they’re warmed back up they are singing nicely.
I’ve just had a splurge on pre-loved or ex-demo NDX 2 and an olive NAT01 / NAPST into NAC 252 / SuperCap DR to replace my NAC-N 272.
All my Naim boxes are now connected to the mains with 6 Power-Lines and a Wireworld Matrix 2 mains block.
Finally, I had the spikes of my Neat Feet cut off to just leave the thread. IsoAcoustics Gaia IIIs have replaced the spikes.
Upgraded to ProAc D2R speakers along with Atacama HMS 2X stands on recommendation from this lovely forum.
Congratulations with the purchase of D2R speakers! Let us know how they settle in over the next couple of months…
Have heard that it takes a little longer to settle in, sure will let you know
Actives or Passives?
Now, now…no BDSM here, thank you!
(Coat…got.)
When can you be here?
I said I wasn’t going to get this, but meh, what the hell. I have a pair of REL S/510 subs. A pair of REL Bassline Blue cables for them would have cost $900 for a 3m pair. However, I connect my subs at the speaker terminals and don’t need 3m or more, and I don’t need the Naim versions since the inline network that it adds is only needed when connecting directly to a Naim amp. So I bought one non-Naim 3m cable. My dealer cut it in half and re-terminated the cut ends, so now I have a 1.5m pair.
I finally after three months got my new ProAc D48R in rosewood. The color is rather light but I’m told they’ll Darken. Packing was amazing, palletized all wrapped up with Hardboard to protect the boxes! I’ll get them setup tomorrow and start listening.
If I got those I would hope they didn’t darken. They look beautiful!
OTOH: I’m a piano black person. They go with everything and never change color.
Passive - driven by a NC250.3.
They kind of remind me a little of Yew wood
Noticeable upgrade vs the N10?
Congrats !
Just purchased NSC 222, NPX300 and NAP 250.
Install in a few days.
Will you change your avatar then ?
Yes difficult to put into words but just nicer to listen too and the music is wonderfully presented.
