HumminGuru Nova. Quiet, and surprisingly faff-free in use. I’ve used it on a few LPs and 12” singles and even well-used discs from my youth have come up sparkling clean and with much reduced surface noise. Should have bought one years ago.

A small change:
Naim XPS non DR. Right lowest device in the picture.
Again a HCDR on the CD5X. Placed on the ground. And a Hi-Line from CD5X to 252.
Quite happy with it. But still thinking about moving to a CDX2. Or CDX2.2 connected to 252 or NDX2.

One of these for me. An Audiolab DC Block 6. Having been plagued on and off for months with DC hum on the two HiCap DR’s, the XPS Dr and the Nap 250DR I finally snapped and bought one of these to try. The system was buzzing this morning, the Block 6 was deployed and perfect silence ensued. Result.

A couple of network optimization tweaks: the Stack Audio SmoothLAN, which I’m sure is a familiar product here and definitely falls into bargain territory.
While doing some network research, I came across a German medical company called EMO Systems, who have a few products also recommended for audio applications. I bought their EN-85E isolator, which provides galvanic isolation, and have it plugged directly into the BT router. The router is then connected to the wall socket using a Blue Jeans Cat6 cable.
Both products arrived at different times, and both have proved beneficial without adding any colouring of their own.

Furthermore, my client wants the court to know that in every case the ‘thinking’ was only undertaken to help the UK HiFi industry.
Finally, given that this is the “What was the last bit of gear you bought in 2026” theead, my client wishes the court to know that 5 additional sets of room acoustic treatment (from a different manufacturer) were ordered in early-June for delivery by the end of July - and these items have yet to be delivered!

You were right until the New Classic stuff arrived, where Naim have tried to simplify the range of power supplies they make (not to mention the range of prices for them!)

Not strictly true, the 555PS powered the NAC-N272 quite happily
Well, these will probably be my last purchases for a very, very long time.
After extensive auditions of interconnects and speaker cables, I have finally settled on the following:
- Luxman D-10X → (Cardas Clear Beyond XLR) → Burmester 035
- Burmester 035 → (Cardas Clear Reflection XLR) → Burmester 956
- Burmester 956 → (Cardas Clear Reflection SC) → YG Acoustics Talus
Hoping for many years of listening pleasure.

did you consider/audition the naim pre and power (332+350)?
apologies if you already covered this, I can’t keep track.
My amplifiers have been in place for 6 years and going nowhere.

More from Cardas here too - Clear Reflection XLR’s between the Madison streamer and the Boulder power amplifier, and Clear Reflection speaker cables onwards to the YG Cairns.
Right hand speaker cable suspended underneath the bench the electronics are on for the streamlined look..
Amazing cables the Cardas, so very rich, detailed, inviting and musical, but also delivering fantastic space and stage size too. Beggars belief what the Cairns can deliver for their size.

What a lovely space to listen to and enjoy music.
YG Acoustics are definitely a serious player in this space. Their quality and attention to detail is first class.
Like you say, the sound they produce is amazing. With the Cardas loom in, I’ve never experienced sound reproduction in my living room like this before.
