Thanks for that. Just had a listen on Tidal and will order the download tonight. I love finding new music!
Same here ordered my copy, thanks Kevster…
A great talent is Nadia Reid from NZ. This is a very good album. Her other 2 earlier releases are also excellent
I bought that in Sainsbury’s last week!
Quite odd Paul - but very good. Worth a punt, I’d say, if you were a fan of South American and Aftrican music.
All these cd’s are around 5 / 6 euros a piece cheaper on Jeff’s German store then the 44.1/16 downloads from Qobuz!
By and By - Graham South Quartet (Graham South, trumpet/Richard Jones, piano/Seth Bennett, bass/Johnny Hunter, drums). Old African/American spirituals rearranged for a modern jazz quartet. On the Efpi label.
Classic. Remastered sounds better (dynamics, bass) but same old dreary singing
Actually, I tell a lie, Morressey definitely sound less nasal
And three more from the charity shop:
Anastacia young and energetic, Sting musical and thoughtful, and Robbie is Robbie, what can I say, very talented but it doesn’t always come off
