Bob, do you know all the albums Chet recorded a) as a leader, and b) as a sideman? Then, how many are you missing? It can’t be that many, surely?
Clive because of his addictions Chet made many, many records some incredible, some average and some terrible.
I’ve maybe 60 Chet recordings and probably that’s only 50%.
So I guess you have to be selective. I hope you’ve managed to avoid the duffers!
No I have a couple but in general yes I’m selective thanks to Tidal and youtube.

I’ve been after a copy of this very, very rare record for years. Italian pianist Enrico Pieranunzi was a huge fan of Chet’s and made several records with him, master musicians always brought out the very best in Chet and Enrico is a true master. So happy I’m finally going to get my hands on a copy.

Joy Division, Still. A gift from the family today. I probably would not have bought this given its condition, but it cleaned up reasonably and the music shines through by the bucket. Gritty 8)

On eBay from a guy in Spain I paid 90 Euros which is a bit outrageous but as you say it’s very rare and goes for double that it’s an exceptional record too. It’s not here yet though so a bit of a nervous wait it’s covered though just in case.
I’d love a copy of Heart of the Ballad too also with Enrico.
Very jealous Ian Philology released some really great music back in the 80’s. Cheapest copy ofHeart of the Ballad is about £80 I think beautiful record.
