Just received the new Jack White “No Name” album. Actually I ordered two because I’ve had a run of bad copies of albums so I thought if I order two I’ll get at least one good one. Not so. Both have an almost identical scratch across the first three tracks of side two - same place but differing in deepness. And on both copies this scratch sits in a kind of dull arc. Extremely disappointing.
I went ages without a dud now I’ve had to return six of the last eight I’ve received:
The Zutons “Big Decider”, three copies of the Dire Straits “On Every Street” MoFi and these two Jack White LP’s.
