I think you are simply running into the problem of opening the window too much for the Rega CDP. The 62 / 140 is a class act and has a wider bandwidth than the Nait, so needs a seriously capable CDP source. I remember from my early experience of trying to get good results from CD ( with 42.5 / HiCap / 110 ) it wasn’t until I brought home a Linn Karik that CD became fully listenable long term.
