Your Top 20 Favourite Albums

Appetite For Destruction was the first album I bought aged maybe 12 years old. It got me into music! Everyone needs a catalyst right?!

They are popular, but perhaps not top 20 material.

A post was merged into an existing topic: What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested?

A fine album. The previous two (Rain Plans and Silver Seas) are also excellent.

My list in particular order. No Beatles or Pink Floyd or Led Zep. Would make the list if it is the Top 30 albums. I love Brazilian bossa and so there are a number of bossa albums. Would have included Ennio Morricone and Stelvio Cipriani but they both have so many soundtracks that it will have to be a compilation of their works.

Lucinda Williams - Sweet Old World
Linda Ronstadt - Heart Like A Wheel
Elis Regina & Tom Jobim - Elis & Tom
Leila Pinheiro - A Bossa
Emmylou Harris - Wrecking Ball
Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks
Boz Scaggs - Fade Into Light
Dawes - Stories Don’t End
Cowboy Junkies - Trinity Sessions
Greg Brown - Poet Game
Grey DeLisle - Homewrecker
J J Cale - Naturally
Toots Thielemans - Brasil Project 2
Sara Isaksson & Rebecca Tornqvist - Fire In The Hole
Stan Getz - Getz & Gilberto
Van Morrison - Poetic Champions Compose
War on Drugs - Lost In the Dream
Marvin Gaye - What’s Going On
The Band - Music From Big Pink
Jane Duboc & Gerry Mulligan - Paraiso

Finally, I have got my top 20 albums. Split into two groups, the first ten are my core albums which have been my favourites since I first heard them, the final ten are my current favourites which are subject to change without prior notice.
