Your Watch & Naim

Please introduce me to your AD - I need one who actually has watches!

I bought mine in 2018 which is also a MK 1. I believed it is “collectable”

takes time to build a relationship with AD

One hell of a watch if you can pull it off. With my build it would pull me over. I really like the TT but same “problem” for me.

Exporting on an iMac is very easy , click on the picture in your photo library, export it in a very low format.

On the bottom of the box, where you post is this
Screenshot 2022-10-18 at 08.53.25

Click on it , go to recents on your Mac and choose the photo . It will then appear as a series of letters

Then put the photo in the trash bin .

Hoping that you will have access to your iMac soon

best wishes

Ian

Thanks, Ian, I’ll try to have a go, but I’m not good with these things - too old!

@anon70766008,

Stop fretting, Graham, as like most things Mac, it’s easy peasy.

As Ian says above, find your picture, click on it, then click “File” in the top bar, then “Edit” from the drop down menu, then “Export” from the drop down menu.

A couple of further clicks send it to the default location of “Downloads”, which, by a happy coincidence, is the default location where this forum looks for pictures, once you’ve opened up the “Reply” box and clicked on the wee “landscape” button as Ian says.

This means that since you’ve already got Safari open, to be viewing the forum in the first place, you can complete the whole operation seamlessly, by choosing from the thumbnails in “Downloads”, without having to go and look for the photo.

Just one tip though … … … don’t start adding any dialogue under your picture until it’s finished downloading, (which you can see, as the photo appears in the draft post to the right of the box your composing in)., otherwise you end up with no picture at all, as some impatient folks on here seem to fail to notice before completing their post.

Good luck, it’s a doddle, compared to the old forum. :+1:

Thank you for the detailed instructions.

I need first to get a new bank account sorted out. It will be a major achievement if I can achieve that today. It’s extraordinarily difficult to do these sorts of things in virtual prison conditions.

But thanks again.

it may be easier to go with the flow and give yourself a fortnight with a carer , and see how things go .

Concerned that you have so much stress, and this may be the lesser of two evils

bet wishes

No watch is better than this, especially if you are into extreme sports:

I agree. No need to be into extreme sports to use this precision engineered smartwatch. Mind you I have walked/hiked about 326k since I’ve had it.

It’s pretty accurate. Only issue is I keep getting it stuck on the cuff when putting on a long sleeve shirt.

Cuff links would be a serious problem as well.

I think you are running a bit fast compared to us over the ditch. :fast_forward:

When I have shirts made (which now perhaps is never again because I wear dress shirts so infrequently), they’d do the left cuff bigger around than the right cuff to accomodate a wristwatch.

I’ve just sent my Omega off to Russell Talerman for an estimate for service/repair. They’re an officially accredited Omega service agent, so :crossed_fingers:t2:. Their initial price was £350+VAT for vintage Omegas, which was better than I was quoted in Bath (a minimum of £600). When he repaired the military watch it was delivered by hand, but this time he sent a prepaid special delivery envelope and super-padded envelope. Now I find the Royal Mail is on strike tomorrow. Grrr!

Don’t forget to take it off in the shower.

Needs Cyclops. :+1:t2:

Back from the watchmaker today (sent in for regulation as it was running (very) slow from new). Purchase inspired by Fabio1, with gratitude - it’s a lot of watch for very little money.

Be interested in knowing how accurate it is now… I’m generally happy with plus 5-10 but ….
