Will let you know. Hoping for around +5 or ideally a little less.
Look up Vintage Watch Services on youtube - very detailed videos of servicing a large number of mechanical watches. Very interesting - though I wouldnāt bother watching all of them, there are so many.
I had my Doxa dress watch serviced recently. Went to various watch repairers, and they quoted prices of around Ā£360 and upwards. Went to my usual watch company - Ā£120. Huge difference.
Prices seem to have escalated. About 10 to 15 years ago I sent my watches off to a company in Liverpool - Veals Jewellers - and most services that they did on my watches were about Ā£25 to Ā£50.
Lovely! Iāve lost count of your seiko collectionā
I like the simplicity and elegance of that design.
They do indeed. They are my favourite brand. I have 2 - a modern Portofino and a very old one from the 40s, IIRC.
lovely watch- all the previous ones Ive seen have the word Presage on the dial above Automatic
PSAN youāre welcome.
Last, as in āmost recentā, or last as in āfinalā?!
Good the first!Sorry,English is not my language
Please donāt apologise! Itās an inherent ambiguity in English and a native speaker would probably have said exactly the same as you did - I certainly would have done.

Nice,
A wonderful watch! When I bought a perpetual calendar your watch and the IWC Perpetual Calendar 42 were the last two watches in the decision process. I have chosen the IWC but the JLC is as wonderful as the IWC.
The prices for service are really high. I do not know what is the price for the IWC service. I will seeā¦
wow - how much just for the service?
I have been hunting a master chronograph- inspired by the one a member has shown in this thread - but I assumed a service would be no more than 750 pounds
ah yes thatās the one - lovely piece
