My missus wants a long case clock like that! I keep an eye out but they are always too far away.

After a five year ebay search for a genuine strap… Recently repowered after last battery left in for thirty odd years… and it works!
Purchased about 1981.
No fake retro here!

Very nice. I think I got a jumper. My 60th was February 2021 during Covid. We went to Worthing for a medical appointment and ate a pizza out of a box for lunch, in the street on a bench. And it was snowing. It was certainly memorable.

It’s often the more simple memories that are the best. I do like the JLC Polaris. I looked at one the other day - the black-faced date model. However, I do prefer the ‘cleaner’ look of the one you’ve got, without the date window. It’s lovely.
