Your Watch & Naim

It’s not been applied yet. I think the intention is to wait for Silvertown to open, then £5 each way, thnk you squire.

Blimey, it is 8 or 9 years (maybe a bit more) since I sat in on a business impact meeting concerning the Silvertown tunnel and the planned new bridges further down the Thames, there wasn’t a mention of business’s incurring a cost to use them, the aim was to improve traffic flow and lessen the environmental suffering of the local residents.

Seems a lot has changed since I left the business and the area.

If, as I surmise, Kent-bound Silvertown traffic joins the A2 south of the Blackwall, what is going to be the impact on Blackwall s/bound traffic. Logic suggests gridlock and both tunnels having rolling closures.

I got my son and his girlfriend, who both like watches, CasiOaks for Christmas last year and they both love them!

That’s a great Zenith.

The AP is a silly pure luxury item but it’ll hold its value and when I NEED the money I can always sell it off. In the meantime, I agree, it’s quite lovely!

New (to me anyway) Panerai PAM00312 picked up from a watch forum I’m registered with.

I used to like these back in the day, then went off them for ages and now loving them again. You don’t tend to see many people wearing them these days despite them having a loyal fan base.

Absolutely mint and just had a recent service. Ironically the chap selling it lives 3-miles down the road from me.

The sandwich dial lume is very NAIM-like so will try to grab a photo.

It’s such a cheeky watch. The colourway should be a migraine inducing clash but Rolex nailed it - at least for me. It is awfully twinkly though, a photon magnet.

Blue/grey strap here too (though hard to see from the picture).

What’s not to love about a Speedster, just a brilliant watch.

Congrats on a great choice.

Nice, not over-complicated

Nice - is that an OEM one or aftermarket ?

It’s an ‘official’ Panerai one, ordered through my local dealer, who fitted it. Panerai have a great range of straps on their website.

After much hunting I managed to find a nice new IWC strap for my MK XII Automatic. Has the curved pins too. Half rrp, which was worth holding out for.
