Yeah you can hire the full cast of a West Side Story now - they’ll be singing for you!
1988 Super Tablettes?
They will make our Tablette 2000 Signatures look like adolescents!
Of course I did not mean that, just a little fun to see the reaction on the proposal…
Mitch, hope all is well. I’m an Irish member living in the city and would love to hear your system in the coming months. By the way, although Sloop-John suggests being Irish could imply that I will plough through your scotch I can assure you it won’t be me that will do the damage. Only Guinness in Ireland and some good Belgian beers in this country for me. Never could get into the good hard stuff (Uisce beatha = The water of life”).
Thanks Brian.
Hello Brian,
I would love to have you over for a visit whenever you feel comfortable doing so. And btw, though not much of a Guinness fan, (though I do enjoy their Blonde as well as Harp), I can appreciate a good Belgian. Feel free to contact me at five one six, five zero seven, nine five nine four. I look forward to meeting you.
You don’t work at the Cheers Bar by any chance?
If so, say hi to Norm for me!
Hello there Mitch, thanks for that. I will send you text so you have my number if you want touch base one day.
Great!
I got a chance to talk to Mitch yesterday. Fine lad And what a music system with more to come. It was the stuff of dreams (at least for me) to hear about his progression up the ladder of hi end audio.
Wish this bullshit would end so I can drop out to LI to hear it. Hopefully this summer.
I also, got to clear up the fact that name is not woody but Brian Jesus, I would have killed my father if he did that to me.
A bit of humour from me, an attempt. But in fact I didn’t understood Woody post 370. He said he wouldn’t want to have a name as Brian?
Brian was responding to my attempt ay humour at post 366.
There used to be a superb American TV comedy based in a Bar in Boston called Cheers, the name of the program. Woody, payed by a young Woody Harrelson, was one of the characters, a dim but lovable Barman from the Country. Norm was another character, a customer who was a permanent fixture sat at the Bar.
Check it out FR, it was a superb piece of American comedy with wonderful characters.
At least I understand that Woody is Brian, now.
Glad ye figured it out. Yes, my name is Brian. I love the Life of Brian and Cheers was excellent
Hanging around here, @frenchrooster had to get to grips with the British sense of humour. He’s now belting out gags like a true Brit, but we sometimes still catch him out, although to be fair this time it was over an American TV comedy.
My favourite however of Terry Gilliam was Brazil. When much younger I watched it maybe 6 times. A masterpiece. Funny but not only. Deep movie
If so then he will have rough time with Irish sarcasm and humour
Check out Father Ted @frenchrooster
