500 Series vs. Statement?

I have no Amazon Video. Only there apparently.

Somehow I never got the Cheers connection.

Didn’t Brian have a Woody?

Stone the crows, can you imagine the pressure on the bottom Fraim spikes for the middle stack?

That’s a lot of pressure!

Any news on how its going Mitch?

Thanks for asking…
The latest update (yesterday) is that the Statements have been converted to 110v and completely checked out. They have been reboxed and are supposed to be picked up next week for transport to NY (from the Naim factory in UK). I hope to have them by the second week of March. The excitement is mounting!

Pretty quick turn round considering the pandemic etc👍

I guess so, but I don’t have them yet… There’s still plenty of potential for SNAFU’s.

Where do you live? You may need to wear ear plugs!

In the UK, I’ll hear you! Try not to get evicted because of noise pollution!!

No worries. I live a single family house and I get along very well with my neighbors; I invite them over for scotch!

You’ll crack the bottles, be careful!!

Being your neighbor must be hard! Do they ring your door bell in the middle of the night with a record in their shaking hands, stammering “Sta…t…e…ment”?

We’ll see. I’ll keep you informed. As long as they also bring a proper beverage, they’re welcome anytime.

Yes it is! My understanding is that my Statement has ben converted to 110v, undergone a complete check-up, been repackaged, and is awaiting shipment, by air, to me in NY this week. I presume it will go to JFK and then through customs there before being trucked on a 30 minute ride to my home in Long Island. Hopefully, all that will take no longer than 2 weeks, 3 at the outside. The anticipation is building!!

On this day, something rather special happened, can anyone enlighten me…nudge nudge Mitch!! Ready when you are, it’s too early for a wee dram…or is it?

Congratulations!!

Thank you! Normally, it is never too early for a dram, wee, or otherwise. The beasts are still in their crates as I will need assistance in getting them out and properly placed. That might actually take several days. Talk about frustrating…lol. I guess I’ll just have to have a dram or two without them while suffering with my 500’s.
