Best internet radio anyone?

Is it flac 16/48 WITH metadata?

JAZZ24 is very good. Deep catalogue, DJ’s but no commercials or news. Good sound quality. Station broadcasts in Seattle area but also offers a free app.

Thanks for sharing. I find the station on Naim App, but it doesn’t start…. wonder why?

@Wilfried I’m using the Wattson Audio radio app(airable). I also play Nordic Lodge through Apple Music Radio via Tunein. Hope this helps.

Dunno, but if you have an Apple device you might be able to download the app and use Apple AirPlay.

Hello, I’ve tried connecting to Radio Diria through the app but it keeps on reverting to the previous station I’ve been playing. Does anyone know how I can fix that?

I think the URL has changed. Perhaps @Stevesky can assist you.
The base VTuner link is not working.
The URL above is working at the moment.

"stations are mp3/128 but excellent quality. "

I don’t agree. 128kbps sounds like, well, 128kbps.

I too was once an MP3 snob.

But I have discovered that stations with high quality broadcasting equipment (and no doubt some care) and coupled with good content selection provide a very acceptable and enjoyable station.

Yes I would prefer flac and high res flac but I can enjoy these other stations.

Hi @Paul_C

re: Continuo
For a little step closer the AAC 128kHz stream is better than the MP3 one. Try:

re: Diria
I’ll have a poke at VTuner and try and get it working

Thank you, it’s good to hear those rhythms on my system.

The other Spanish stations that don’t connect are the RNE ones , particularly RNE 3 and RNE radio classica. It would be great if you @Stevesky could fix those too

“I too was once an MP3 snob.”

I’ll give you a pass on the personal comment but don’t do it again, there’s a good chap.

Hi @Legume

I’ll chase those RNE ones down as they really should be working. They’re a bit unique as the Spanish broadcaster keep on messing around with their URL’s even though they are a public broadcaster (so should be stable).

Thanks Paul for the tip. Klara is really a very nice. To my ears together with The Jazz Groove one of the best stations from soundquality.

Yes sometimes it seems to be a crazy world. Especially older jazz recordings sound sometimes better to my ears via The Jazz Groove (MP3) than the same recording via Qobuz (Flac 44khz 16bit).
