Best jokes

And you can remember it?

Best thing to do is to just ignore him. You can also set your forum software so none of his posts get displayed.

Yes, I think Severn Beach is probably the outright winner … :sunglasses:

The total lack of punctuation; random capitalisation, missing spaces between words, random line breaks that break up the meaning, and most of all that these jokes are all - every single one of them - so old and done to death that no-one can claim not to have heard them before. Which leads me to the inescapable conclusion that Brian1 is doing this in an ironic way and believes that his style and content is the Best Jokes equivalent of Tommy Cooper performing magic. Sorry mate, it’s not working.

@Brian1

Just send good ones!
Not every joke is great - no-one expects that.
But reading the incessant one liners…phew… it was like a speed trip

@Brian1 if you do contribute any more “jokes” please post to the thread and not as replys to individuals. This is my third time of asking, it’s very annoying, bordering on harassment, to keep receiving unneccesary reply notifications from you.
I’m going to ask for moderator assistance here @Richard.Dane

I can take a hint i will not send in jokes.
Just tell them to my friends who i see once every
15 years.

Give the guy a break, he said he’s not posting anymore jokes. For what it’s worth I never found myself rolling around the floor after reading yours.

It’s the repeated direct reply notifications I keep getting and have issue with not the standard of joke telling.
In case you hadn’t noticed I’m not the only one here getting a little annoyed

That’s good news Brian. Thanks for ‘taking the hint’.

You do realise that we can all read all posts; there’s no need to tell each of us individually that you won’t be posting more jokes. There are two Reply options, one is a generic Reply to the thread button at the bottom of the thread after the last post, and there’s a Reply to post button which does what you’re doing and creates a reply to that specific post and notifies its owner. Use the one at the bottom unless you are replying to someone specifically.

Have a good weekend.

This did make me smile though, must save some of Brian’s jokes up for selected ‘friends’ that I don’t wish to see frequently.

If members don’t like Brian1’s jokes they can just skip over them when they see his avatar. The guy has the right to post and express himself. Obviously I will take stick for this, which I’m not looking forward to since coming to the forum is supposed to be a pleasure.

Don’t worry Chris. of course Brian has every right to post jokes here, so long as they don’t breach forum rules. I think the issue here is that the posts are done as direct replies to members.

@Brian1 I have messaged you and explained how you can avoid doing this - use the big reply button framed in a black rectangle at the bottom of the thread.

You won’t get any stick from me Chris, agree with you 100%.
