I’ve made the position re. the jokes thread clear on a number of occasions; Anything I see that’s a clear breach of forum rules, including any political references or jokes featuring or parodying political figures is removed. Otherwise, as the forum is quite diverse in nationality and culture, I leave it to you the members to flag anything that you feel goes too far or might well be offensive to a number of members. In most cases I will either remove or seek a further explanation as to why something might be deemed widely offensive, and then make a judgement. Obviously those who post jokes here, sometimes have second thoughts and remove them themselves, which I assume is what happened here with LindsayM, and that is fine too.
