I hope that they get things under control very soon Pete. I found that my chemotherapy got worse and worse as it went on. Once finished I was back to normal after about 4 weeks. It’s a marathon and the thing to do is to keep sight of the finish line.
You will get through this hurdle. Sending you my best !
Yeah I think the additional 30 years makes it a bit tough. My first 5 chemo (apart from a minor hiccup with the first one) have been trouble free just the usual let down after the roids have finished.
Much better thanks, haven’t had a heat spike in almost 10 days. Now just have my stem cell transplant starting around the 9th of September to look forward to (not ).
Like you it’s a long and tough battle but our only choice. Keep us posted.
Good luck with the stem cell transplant. How does that work? Thinking of you mate.
No treatments for me since chemo. Been a while now. Feel pretty good. But things will change with ops. See if they can do them first. Got some scans and then see where we are.
You’ll need to keep yourself safe this winter, influenza A and B caused huge problems here more than the current strain of covid. Getting the A version knocked me around for over 2 months.
As for the stem cell thingy, this link explains it better. I will still require chemo every 3 or 6 months to help keep me in remission.
