Rooster I can’t wait for next op, so they can cut more holes into me! YES!
Then I can run home afterwards, jumping on 20 tonne trucks to take me home.
To be honest with next op, thinking of taking train home. They advise not to use public transport but it will save a load of hassle for a mate to pick me up from London with all the traffic!
My favourite film of all time!
Might need to rethink that Dan………my wife was very ill with covid, do your best to minimise contact after a new op. Public transport?
I second that, you all need to be careful this winter
Looks about right. Nice key hole surgery there. Will give surgeon plenty of room.
So when they did liver resection, they blew my body up with air so they could have room around the liver. It’s like aomething out of James Bond movie.
That’s why my shoulder ached so much afterwards. Was full of wind! Morphine didn’t really touch it to be honest it bloody hurt. Needed more a speedball combo of uppers and downers to sort it out!
It’s empty during the day. Will wear a mask. Anyway I will make a call on that closer to the time.
Wish i was down the road……to help.
I have made 3 trips to Guys hospital recently on train. It’s in central London for those who don’t know. Each time train has been empty, travelling off peak. So thinking train back home after op.
It’s not just the mask it’s your hands, make sure you only touch what’s necessary and take some hand sanitizer with you.
Having had serious surgery myself, I can say you need to be very wary of infection - and there are a lot of people on public transport who aren’t aware of the needs of others when spreading germs .
If necessary get a taxi and meet up with your mate - somewhere like a motorway service area , and wear a mask.
I caught a major staphylococcus infection after a simple hernia operation and that could easily have had very serious repercussions / I hope Pete doesn’t mind me saying but he has had some serious problems with flu like symptoms
My very bestest wishes
Points taken. Will get mate to pick me up from hospital!
Smarter move.
I had watched it maybe 4 times. So impressive, specially the first time, and for the date of production.
But please, don’t post a second picture after your next surgery, or at least not just before my dinner
Your dinner is my breakfast
Don’t worry I will post more pics of wounds especially for you.
I have the DVD. Watched many times.
