Does anybody know what has happened to all the charges Manchester City were facing?
And thatās just for starters, Jamie. Iām as far as it gets from being a Chelsea fan, but Iād also get rid of Jackson, Thiago Silva, Sterling, Madueke and Chilwell (what a tosser he was against Liverpool).
Expect youāll disagree but the fact that Conor Gallagher appears to be a key player for you would be a worry for me as a fan. He does run around a lot but, yesterday for instance, he had the game in his hands at least twice only to fluff his lines. To compete at the very top Iād say you need much better in your engine room.
Nope, Conor and Palmer have been our two best players all season.
No way Iād dump Chilwell. Weāre a better team when heās playing. Gusto will make it. Colwill too probs. Jackson is an enigma and could be terrific but I think he and Poch arenāt a match.
I was incredulous we signed Sterling, he was and is among my least favourite players in the Prem and while he has scored some important goals, there have been far too few of them and when he loses the ball (which is a ridiculously frequent occurrence) heās a huge liability. He can leave right now.
Nkunku has got something about him and among the defenders Badiashile can stay, Wesley Fofana too and Reece James but they all keep getting crocked. Alfie Gilchrist is the future. Chukwuemeka and Casadei would be in my squad for midfield, Lavia weāve not seen yet. Iāve liked Petrovic since he arrived in goal but not sure heās world class.
Bring back Kepa, Maatsen, Amjorin, Mason Burstow, Harvey Vale, Gabriel and Lewis Hall. Omari Hutchinson and Andrey Santos will come good so letās have them back tooā¦
Start again.
Noooooooo - donāt take Omari back! McKenna has improved him no end particularly his link play and final ball. Still really a 20 minute cameo player but he will deffo improve. Puts himself about too and is a tough little f*cker - big defenders canāt bully him.
The hearing is due in September with the results coming at the end of that season. All 115 charges are still there but they are stating that they have absolute evidence of their innocence.
Iāve read that they are trying to get the charges thrown out as inadmissible because many of them originated from evidence unearthed by a computer hacker.
I think you miss my point. Iām not disputing CG is your best player, Iām suggesting as a neutral observer, that heās not good enough for a team with your aspirations. While he is (if indeed he is) I think youāll find it tough. Luckily you have an easy game on Wednesday
I suspect you may have wanted us to win on Sunday, if there is any spark of want and desire in the Chelsea team, it may have been fanned a bit by that. I hope so anyway.
Yep, they even have the hackerās laptop as evidenceā¦
Tbf it was one of those games where I wanted no one to win That said, I was hoping for extra time. Weāve got 4 games in 10 days now & injuries. Wednesdayās a free shot for us. Our priority has to be Huddersfield on Saturday. Hopefully we acquit ourselves well for the travelling fans though.
Dumb guy. He should have used a more secure password.
I mean, āGunner till I dieā wasnāt the most difficult for prosecutors to crack.
I remember where I was when the news broke on the radio, I cried
Son in lawās a Rovers fan. Feel for him. Could easily have won the tie tonight if their top goal scorer had done his stuff. Extra time for the Foxes and theyāre in the hat. Excellent. Letās keep them busy. The FA Cup continues to offer entertaining football. Haaland back on form.
It was the proverbial game of three halves, first rubbish, second really entertaining and the third ( extra time) electric.
I was really sad that one team would be eliminated
At least we can now focus on the league after the City drubbing yesterday (& it was a drubbing). Again, we never gave up but shipping 6 must sap your energy. I remain proud of the team but the gap in quality was quite evident yesterday. Note to manager: not a wise move to leave defender 1 on 1 with Haaland.
Looks like Poch has got the dreaded vote of confidence from the Chelsea board, Jamieā¦
Is he really the one who should be under pressure ? After all, he sadly inherited this squad.
What do you think ?
Most highly rated comment on a BBC online story about Haaland after last nightās City victory over Luton:
From Billy McFlipFlops: If he keeps his head down and works hard he could be the next Jermaine Defoe.
Haaland and de Bruyne were in unstoppable form.
Luton showed some fighting spirit, early on and also did well to get back in the game with two fine goals.
Luton played too open a game which suited City. Contrast Bournemouth who gave City problems last week with a pressing and attacking game but didnāt allow City the space that they thrive on.
Youād think that the club might recognise that their name derives from the Woolwich Arsenal, before their move(s) to north London.
But up the Arse anyway (from a former Islington resident)!
