English Premier League Season 2023/24

Chelsea win WSL again :soccer::grinning::soccer::grinning::soccer:

She’s quite the sort is Emma and will be missed.

I hope she has a great time in the USA.

I thought it was Jose heading to East London?

“Do you know the way to say Jose…” ringing around Stratford…

I quite liked the idea of Tuchel going to the Dildodrome - Westen Schinken United

In fine style, demolishing ManU. I was at Villa watching Man City. No chance of us getting the required 10 goals, so well done Chelsea.

Meanwhile the mighty Bayern Munich finish third, and poor old Harty K doesn’t even get a runners-up medal.

I was actually trying to be positive for you Kev. I know who I’d want out of Mourinho and Tuchel.

And her shoes will take some filling, after 5 straight WSL championship wins the new boss has a lot to live up to.

Tuchel is a great manager to be sure Bob, but not at all certain he’d be a good fit for West Ham, and I think he would prefer a “bigger” club, despite his friendship with Jet Set Tim.

I would prefer Amorim or Fonseca, but it seems 99% certain J-Lo will be our man. He has a lot of work to do but I’d be pretty happy with that appointment, provided the Porn Dwarf refrains from sticking his oar in and and lets him and Steidten get on with it.

Personally I can’t see the upgrade from Moyes to J-Lo it seems a bit of a sideways step to me.

I thought that too initially, but we tend to just think of him for his spell at Wolves. He wasn’t successful at Real but his time at Sevilla was super-successful and he won the Europa there, as well as getting them into the Champs League.

If he can get the best out of our most creative players, get a good striker in and shore up our defence I’m sure he’ll be fine.

And an MBE in her pocket…

And an OBE in the other one.

And maybe more awards to come, Emma is a very talented lady.

Yep, tbf I wouldn’t be opposed if they cancelled her air ticket and stuck her in as assistant for men’s team next season to then perhaps replace Poch in ‘25. With Thiago Silva as her assistant.

And both should have a statue at Stamford Bridge!

What a drubbing for the ladies Man Utd and in front SAF as well. A week after winning the FA cup .

“You should see old Fergie’s face, as friendly as a can of mace”

Well done Emma Hayes OBE , hope she does well in the USA . She should have been a shoe in for the England manager -except we have a highly competent ladies manager

Loving Caicedo’s goal. Sterling is still sh…ocking.

You gotta figure at some point she’ll be in with a shout to manage England, unless life in the US is significantly less hassle and more profitable (which I suspect it is…).

According to reports, fans are leaving the Emirates , after 40 minutes.
WOW. How embarrassing.
Sums up their fans.

Interesting stat, that even with Thiago Silva in the back line, Chelsea have the youngest team in the Prem for the season.

Spurs have 6 academy players on the bench.
