English Premier League Season 2023/24

Although in brighter news - Michael Olise has just signed 4 year contract to stay at Palace!

Yep, tapping up concerns apparently.

Allegedly Brennan Johnson now…

Michale’s brother is still with us though :slightly_smiling_face:

Indeed. Steve Parish threatened to report Chelsea to FA over behaviour although Chelsea denied any wrongdoing

Yep and in many ways I’m glad, we just seem to be going for too many cooks just now.

And it may help us try harder to keep Lewis Hall, though I stll think FFP is influencing that one.

Not sure how hard you are trying to keep Hall, looks Toon bound at the moment. Of course that could change overnight.

Saw an article today on Apple news from Givemesport that showed a full team of academy stars that Chelsea have let go. It was quite the team.

Poch greeting his new Chelsea squad

You can mock if you like, but we’re investing in youth and letting go of the old guns. Here’s our new midfielder and keeper.

Presumably on 25 year contracts…

Don’t know about that but recent delivery at the back of Cobham training ground suggests they’re taking player welfare seriously. Apparently there are no packets of rusks on the shelves at the local Waitrose.

Look on the bright side @TheKevster - now FA investigating Paqueta for alleged betting issues, Citeh have lost interest

Perhaps those of you who had United finishing above Arsenal might want a rethink.

2 games in and United look absolutely shocking they scraped a win at Wolves after one of the worst refereeing decisions I’ve ever seen.

And fair play to the Spuds they’ve just run through United midfield like it doesn’t exist and as for Mason Mount anonymous rubbish and Onana can pick a pass but other than that he is shocking.

Enjoyed Roy Keane’s post match interview and especially his opening summary “United are the new Spurs” :joy:

Well done to the Superseagulls top of the league after battering Wolves the team who walked right through United last week and should have beaten them.

Dreaming territory :blue_heart::white_heart::blue_heart::white_heart:

Making predictions after two games is reckless. Wait until the end of September. At least.

We won’t be top by the end of September :rofl:. We probably won’t be top by tomorrow ! So getting all the dreaming in now :grinning:

Dreaming at the end of March is also reckless

Where’s Keano ?

Sorry mate, but our kids (they don’t know each other’s names yet) seem to have given your boys a bit of a pastin’

A long way to go for our lot of course. There will be ups and down ( just like breaking in new speaker cable :grinning:).

But they are young and they are only going to get better…
